    Beautiful Sucker Lake has much to offer visitors. Sucker Lake is a good place of normal rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February. Here at Sucker Lake you can distinguish Panther Mountain, and a beautiful lake like Mud Pond is a good place to visit. There is a magnificent hiking trail close to Sucker Lake called the Salmon Lake Trail.
The Post Henderson Trail is a great hiking trail in close proximity
 
   to Sucker Lake, and lots of folks from Ogdensburg-Massena come here. Through the long summer days, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Sucker Lake, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are mostly in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Sucker Lake sink into the 0's. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! Sucker Lake is great! Going for a hike on the The Loop is always  
               a good adventure, and paddling on Little River is so much fun.
This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western University Inn is a great location to spend a night or two, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Sayles John M Memorial Golf Course is in close proximity. Natural Bridge K O A Camp Ground is a fine campground here, and drift down the rapids of Oswegatchie River - East Branch in a kayak.
