You can run the rapids of Oswegatchie River - East Branch near Sucker Lake, and Best Western University Inn is a pleasant spot to get some rest. Throughout the months of summer at Sucker Lake temperatures are commonly in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. That right there is lots already, but it goes on; Sucker Lake has it all. On a wonderful day at Sucker Lake you can take a hike along the Post Henderson Trail, and not far from Sucker Lake you'll hit upon Mud Pond which is a gorgeous
lake. The Salmon Lake Trail is a great hiking trail near Sucker Lake, and there's whitewater on Little River for all you adrenaline rush seekers.
