It's always fun to stop by Sturgeon Pool. Hiking along the Phoenicia Trail is perfect fun, and a spree to Rosendale Plains revives the soul. This lake is so wonderful. Super 8 Motel - Kingston is a nice place to get some rest, and get your heart beating on the tremendous whitewater of Rondout Creek. Some close by water includes Swarte Kill, and Sturgeon Pool is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Hidden Valley Lake is a wonderful local campground. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from Kingston here; enjoy a round of golf at Wiltwyck
Country Club. Take a hike on the Willow Trail. A fine place to visit in the vicinity of Sturgeon Pool is Wallkill Valley, and camping at Ulster County Four-h Camp is always a brilliant experience.
