A visit to Stump Pond is always a good idea. Todt Hill is a peak you can see from Stump Pond; if you're here and you like golf, you can visit Silver Lake Golf Course. A delightful beach near Stump Pond is New Dorp Beach, and if you came for an overnight stay Liberty Harbor RV Park is a good spot to camp. If you need a site to stay The Carlton Hotel on Madison Avenue is a great choice, and dropping by Gateway National Recreation Area is just something you need to do if you haven't yet.
