    Go to Stuart Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Stuart Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while February is generally the driest month. There's so much to do here at Stuart Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Twin Islands Campsite is a brilliant place for that; if the weather is delightful, you obtain a pleasant view of Baxter Mountain from Stuart Lake. For the period of the long summer  
   days at Stuart Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows through the winter for Stuart Lake tend to be in the 10's.
Lakes are nice; Quinn Lake is a lake that's close to Stuart Lake; there are some great whitewater spots on Beaver Kill River. Fuller Hollow is a pleasant site to spend some time at. What a site this is for outdoors people. Everybody
 
               nearby loves skiing at Mount Tone, and why not a little side spree to Campbell Brook.
This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Callicoon Creek - North Branch for all you thrill seekers, and Villa Roma Resort Lodges is a magnificent site to get some rest. Not far from Stuart Lake, you'll locate Edwards Pond which is a gorgeous lake, and you can stay the night at Peaceful Valley Campsite.
