The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. West Mountain is a perfect local ski area; if you came to camp American Campgrounds Of Schroon River is a tremendous site to do that. This lake is so wonderful. At Streeter Pond you always meet someone from Glens Falls; Sunset Mt Lodge is a perfect place to get some rest. Just can't get enough of       Streeter Pond. So much cool stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not sufficient time. Do have a look at Bennett Pond close to Streeter Pond, it's a charming lake, and if you're a golfer then a glorious nearby course is Green Mansion Golf Course. There's so much to do here at Streeter Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Hidden Pond Campsite is a tremendous place for that, and after a long day outdoors Carey's Lakeside Cottages is a fine location to spend                  a night or two. The amount of precipitation that falls at Streeter Pond is close to the national average; the month with most of the rain is August; January is when it's the driest. Drift down the rapids of Hudson River in a kayak, and you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Pharoah Mountain Trail. You get a fine sight of Pollyann Mountain from Streeter Pond, and the slopes of Gore Mountain are so inviting noone can resist. For the duration of the summertime at Streeter Pond highs are regularly in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Streeter Pond are in the 0's. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Streeter Pond. Hiking along the Spectacle Pond Trail is splendid fun, and get drenched paddling on Schroon River. This place, the Adirondack Mountains, has so much outdoors fun stuff.
