If you are in Warren county it's always a good idea to stop by Streeter Pond. Be careful coming to the Adirondack Mountains, you might not ever want to go home again. During your journey to Streeter Pond you'll meet some folks from Glens Falls for sure, and there is a good hiking trail close by called the Long Swing Trail. Camping is available at Point O' Pines, and get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Hudson River. That right there is a load of

| | amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Adirondack Mountains has it all. The Pharoah Mountain Trail is a glorious hiking trail near Streeter Pond; you get a nice sight of Pollyann Mountain from here.

stop by. On a fine day you can visit The Marsher, a swamp near Streeter Pond, and on a fine day you can take a hike along the Spectacle Pond Trail.
For the duration of the warm days of summer here at Streeter Pond, high temperatures
mostly reach the 70's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's; overnight lows in the 0's for Streeter Pond. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains.
That right there is loads already, but it keeps on going; Streeter Pond has it all. Gotta ski! Gore Mountain is a splendid location to do that.
And that's not all you can do here at Streeter Pond. Near Streeter Pond you discover
a golf course called Green Mansion Golf Course, and a good location to camp here at Streeter Pond is Hidden Pond Campsite. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody close by loves skiing at West Mountain; whitewater paddling is not for
everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Schroon River. Streeter Pond is a good place of common rain; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest of the months is January.
