     New York has many beautiful lakes and Stonystep Pond is one of them. Stonystep Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains. If you like swamps, you're in luck, McGinn Meadows is right nearby, and you can stay the night at Whispering woods. Be careful coming to the Adirondack Mountains, you might not ever wanna return home again. Going for a hike on the Northville Lake Placid Trail is always a great adventure.

   painless to spot from Stonystep Pond; the skiing at Gore Mountain is great. Just can't get enough of Stonystep Pond. Don't leave Stonystep Pond without first going for a hike along the Sucker Brook Trail, and a gorgeous lake like Bell Mountain Pond is a splendid place to stop by. Yeah, come up here to the Adirondack Mountains for a nice time. If you need a site to stay Best Western Mountain Lake Inn is a great choice; get wet paddling on Indian River.
 
               The amount of rain that falls at Stonystep Pond is close to the national average; most of the rain falls throughout August while February is usually the driest month. Through the summertime months at Stonystep Pond highs are regularly in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Stonystep Pond. Go for a hike on the Oregon Trail, and whitewater paddling is nice on Cedar River.
