    Beautiful Stoner Lakes has much to offer visitors. This lake is so wonderful. Campsite is a delightful campground nearby, and Chub Lake Mountain is a peak you can observe from Stoner Lakes. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Adirondack Mountains. While you're here at Stoner Lakes you will meet lots of folks from close by Amsterdam, and if you need a place to stay Johnstown/Gloversville  
   Super 8 Motel is a tremendous choice.
Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff truly is bountiful here in the Adirondack Mountains. Pine Lake Campground and RV Park is a great local campground, and glide down the rapids of Sacandaga River - West Branch in a kayak. Summer at Stoner Lakes arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; during the dark hours in the wintertime
 
               at Stoner Lakes temperatures plunge to the 0's. Broomstick Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and paddling on Piseco Outlet is so much fun.
Man, is there heaps of amusing things to do close to Stoner Lakes. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Nick Stoner Municipal Golf Course is close at hand, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Johnstown-Gloversville, Ny. This lake is so wonderful. The annual precipitation here at Stoner Lakes is about average; June is the wettest month with most rain; February is when it's the driest.
If you get bored of Stoner Lakes, you could also explore close by Pine Lake, and the Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail offers hiking at its best.

Never been there...going there soon though....l\Love it there, going today. :)...Great spot for swimming in the summer. Clear waters, with many rocks and small cliffs to jump off, along with a rope swing! Its a heavily used area, made apparent by the large amount of garbage left around during the busy months, but  all in all a good lake and definatley worth the short hike....

Buckhorn Lake is a private Association Lake located 2 miles north of Unadilla, New York (in Otsego County). Very friendly towns folk and this lake holds the New York State Record for a Large Mouth Bass caught in 1994. The lake is fed by many underground springs but is not ery deep. Makes for a lovely, though short drive around it....

Morehouse Lake is completely on private property under the ownership of the Morehouse Lake Club which was founded in 1889 and also has within it's borderline Barto Lake and Mud Pond. The outlet stream is called Little Goldmine and runs southeasterly into the East Canada Creek near Powley Place....
