Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Fifth Lake, and do explore Stony Creek if you're here at Stone Ridge Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Stone Dock Golf Course is a fine golf course close by, and don't leave Stone Ridge Pond without first going for a hike along the Phoenicia       Trail. Go for a hike on the Willow Trail, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Hunter Mountain. Any time is a good time at Stone Ridge Pond if you like the outdoors. Not far from Stone Ridge Pond, you'll hit upon Fourth Lake which is a lovely lake, and Stone Ridge Pond is a great spot to visit for more than one day, So-hi Campground is a great spot to camp nearby. Going for a hike on the Kanape Jeep Trail is always a brilliant                  adventure, and dry warm beds await you at Mohonk Mountain House. All through the warmest time of the year here at Stone Ridge Pond, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Stone Ridge Pond temperatures descend to the 0's. Stone Ridge Pond is a reasonably wet place frequently with a lot of rain; November is the wettest month with most rain; February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
