The beauty of Stone Dam Lake is reason enough to stop by. It's a good idea to pop by Big Brook, it's in close proximity to Stone Dam Lake. Stone Dam Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Lakes are pleasant; Chub Pond is a lake that's right next door to Stone Dam Lake, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Forty Mountain Trail.

the Twin Lakes Trail is a wonderful hiking trail close by. If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Adirondack Mountains. There's so much to do here at Stone Dam Lake that you need to camp here for a while,
Cold Brook Campsites is a wonderful place for that, and going for a hike along the Stone Dam Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains.
