Beechy Bottom Brook is a picturesque stream that is worth going to, and Econo Lodge Highland Falls is a brilliant site to get some rest. Going for a hike on the Breakneck Ridge Trail is always a fine adventure; if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites West Point-Ft Montgomery, Ny is a glorious choice. At Stilwell Lake during the summertime highs are in the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures       drop down into the 60's. Highs through the winter are generally in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Stilwell Lake descend into the 10's. The snow is wonderful at Sterling Forest, and Sutherland Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at. The Stillwell Lake Trail is a great hiking trail in the vicinity of Stilwell Lake, and you could always explore Brooks Hollow. This lake is so wonderful. Cranberry Mountain is uncomplicated                  to spot from Stilwell Lake, and if you came to camp Sebago Cabins Harriman is a great location to do that. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff at Stilwell Lake. There's so much to do here at Stilwell Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Beaver Pond is a good place for that, and while you're here and you like golf, you can have a look at Central Valley Golf Club. If you get bored of Stilwell Lake, you could also stop at nearby Roe Pond; in case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Moodna Creek. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a nice time here at Stilwell Lake. A day on the slopes of Mt. Peter is just what you need. The high level of rainfall makes Stilwell Lake a reasonably wet spot; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful.
