The summit of Howe Mountain can be seen from Stewart Lake, and you can stay the night at Mt Kenyon Camp Ground. All the outdoors amusing stuff in the Adirondack Mountains will keep you coming back again and again. Stewart Lake is a nice location to visit for more than one day, Down Hill Campground is a nice location to camp nearby, and if you need a place to stay Lake View Hotel and Conference       Center is a great choice. All through the summer, highs regularly are in the 70's at Stewart Lake; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Stewart Lake all through the winter generally drop into the 0's. An average amount of rainfall falls at Stewart Lake; August is the month that gets the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.                  Stewart Lake is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting things the area in close proximity to Stewart Lake has to offer. Lakes are splendid; Viele Pond is a lake that's in the vicinity of Stewart Lake; get dripping wet paddling on Schroon River. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Adirondack Mountains. Gore Mountain has good slopes and a friendly staff, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Bend of the River Golf Club is in close proximity. This lake is so wonderful. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby West Mountain, and do take a look at Berry Pond Brook since you're here at Stewart Lake. You're probably addicted to lakes, Gay Pond is one of those close by; after a long day outdoors Lake George/Warrensburg Super 8 Motel is a great place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful.
