This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Ausable River - West Branch near Lake Stevens, and at Lake Stevens you can see Esther Mountain. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Skiing at Mount Pisgah is one of those things you just have to do, and do take a hike on the Johns Brook Trail. Lake Stevens is located in the Adirondack Mountains. Through the days of summer highs here at Lake Stevens       get into the 70's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Lake Stevens. Lake Stevens gets a normal amount of rain; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Adirondack Mountains has to offer. A wonderful close by hotel                  is Mirror Lake Inn, and camping at North Pole Campground is always a delightful experience. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Placid Club Lodge is a glorious location to get some rest; the scenic Stephenson Range is here. Lake Stevens is right by the Silver Lake Mountain Trail. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Adirondack Mountains is great! If you came to camp KOA Kampgrounds is a great location to do that; the Schwartz Trail offers hiking at its best. Oncio Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop by; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Whiteface Mountain since you're here.
