Be careful coming to the Adirondack Mountains, you might not ever wanna go back home again. A wonderful site to camp here at Lake Stevens is North Pole Campground; do take a hike on the Johns Brook Trail. A great nearby hotel is Hungry Trout Motor Inn; Esther Mountain can be spotted from Lake Stevens. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of folks from Plattsburgh here at Lake Stevens. This       lake is so wonderful. Lake Stevens is in a good location in the shadow of the Stephenson Range; pretty scenery and good skiing is what you acquire at Whiteface Mountain. An average amount of rain falls at Lake Stevens; August is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is February. During the warm months at Lake Stevens highs are generally in the 70's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's;                  winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Lake Stevens. Lake Stevens is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. Just can't get enough of Lake Stevens. Why not camp at Lake Placid/Whiteface MT KOA since you're here at Lake Stevens; if you need a spot to stay Huntington Motel & Cottages is a nice choice. Lake Stevens is right by the Silver Lake Mountain Trail; in case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ausable River - West Branch. Yeah, come up here to the Adirondack Mountains for a pleasant time.
