Yep, outdoors exciting things to do are in fact bountiful here at Stevens Pond. A pretty lake like Proctor Pond in the neighborhood of Stevens Pond is a nice place to go to, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Stevens Pond; Pharoah Mountain Trail is a great local trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend The Branch, and if you need a location to stay Ticonderoga - Super       8 Motel is a great choice. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Stevens Pond. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Stevens Pond temperatures dip to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Schroon River; here at Stevens Pond you can see Long Sue. And if that's not sufficient there's a load more cool                  things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. There's splendid hiking along the Long Swing Trail, and Stevens Pond is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Echo Lake Southwoods is a great spot to camp nearby. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. The yearly rainfall here at Stevens Pond is about average; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Peaked Hill Trail, and Paradise Pines Camping Resort is a magnificent campground nearby. Now, you may imagine that's heaps but there's even more fun stuff to do here in the Adirondack Mountains.
