The Cannonball Trail is a glorious hiking trail close to Sterling Lake, and why not camp at Motor Sports Marina and Campground since you're here at Sterling Lake. Sterling Lake gets a normal amount of annual rain; May is when you get the most rain here while February is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Camp wabenaki is a great local campground, and there are other places       here than Sterling Lake, for example We-Wah Lake. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Sterling Forest since you're here, and Sheraton Crossroads Hotel is a magnificent place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites CHESTER-MONROE-GOSHEN, and this is a popular place for folks from New York-Newark-Edison. What a site this is for outdoors people. There is a wonderful                  hiking trail right next door to Sterling Lake called the Kakiat Trail, and an afternoon playing golf at The Golf Club at Mansion Ridge is always a bliss. Pequannock River is a great whitewater spot near Sterling Lake, and if you like swamps you're in luck, McKeags Meadow is right nearby. During the summertime months, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Sterling Lake. Summer night lows plunge down to the 60's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Sterling Lake. Sterling Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a gorgeous outdoors paradise. Going for a hike on the Ramapo-Dunderberg Trail is always a brilliant adventure; not far from Sterling Lake you'll come across Sheppard Pond which is a lovely lake. Skiing at Mt.
