This lake is so wonderful. East Stony Creek is a pleasant whitewater spot near Steele Reservoir. Be careful coming to the Adirondack Mountains, you might not ever want to return back home again. What would winter be without some skiing at Hickory Ski Center, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Amsterdam. All the water falling down       from the sky makes Steele Reservoir a wet site; September is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is February. That right there is plenty of cool things already but it goes on, the Adirondack Mountains has it all. Steele Reservoir is a spot with many visitors from Gloversville, and if you came to camp Birch Haven is a wonderful place to do that. Steele Reservoir is located in the Adirondack Mountains. There's so much to do here at                  Steele Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Pop's Lake Campground is a pleasant site for that, and some nearby water includes Steele Creek. This place is so good, just look at all the cool things to do right next door to Steele Reservoir. After a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn Amsterdam is a wonderful place to spend a night or two; Evans Pond is a swamp near Steele Reservoir. High temperatures at Steele Reservoir all through the long summer days are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Steele Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful.
