Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Oswego River, and Stark Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Duck Lake Campground is a pleasant local campground. Stark Pond is a good place of normal rain; all through November this area sees the most rain while February is regularly the driest month. Best Western Weedsport Inn is a great location to get some rest, and do pop       by Slayton Pond, it's a delightful lake. After a long day outdoors Weedsport Days Inn is a great location to spend a night or two, and since you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Auburn. For the period of the summertime highs here at Stark Pond reach the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Stark                  Pond. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! Stark Pond is peerless! Otter Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Cato Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful.
