There's no way someone can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Oswegatchie River - East Branch, and hiking along the The Loop is splendid fun. Yep, outdoors fun things truly is plentiful here in the Adirondack Mountains. Not far from Star Lake, you'll discover Readway Ponds which is a gorgeous lake, and Little River       is a delightful whitewater spot nearby. An average amount of rain falls at Star Lake; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February. If you came to camp Robinson's Iga is a good location to do that; Star Lake is right by the Salmon Lake Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. So many entertaining things to do at Star Lake, so little time. Lots of folks from Ogdensburg-Massena                  come to Star Lake, and the top of Maple Mountain is easily seen from Star Lake. Looking for some flowing water? Try Alice Brook, and if you're a golfer then a fine close by course is Sayles John M Memorial Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. The Post Henderson Trail offers hiking at its best. Summertime highs at Star Lake regularly tend to be in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Star Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Star Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Higley Flow State Park is a brilliant local campground. Lakes?
