A visit to Spy Lake is always a good idea. So many fun things to do at Spy Lake, so little time. Get your heart pumping on the perfect whitewater of Piseco Outlet, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Piseco Lake. Spy Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. You can run the rapids of Sacandaga River - West Branch next to Spy Lake.

You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing things the Adirondack Mountains has to offer. Good hiking is available along the Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail, and if you're here, you could stop by Sand Lake Outlet. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. You must stop at Higgins Bay when you're here at Spy Lake; Campsite is a perfect local campground.

This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Pine Lake Campground and RV Park while you're here at Spy Lake; the wonderful folks of Gloversville like to hang out close by. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! The Adirondack Mountains
is unbeatable! Hiking is a popular thing to do around Spy Lake; Sucker Brook Trail is a delightful local trail, and Mud Lake Mountain is easy to spot from Spy Lake. This lake is so wonderful.

of the year here at Spy Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Spy Lake are in the 0's.
