The beauty of Spy Lake is reason enough to stop by. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area in the neighborhood of Spy Lake has to offer. There is a pleasant hiking trail near Spy Lake called the Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail; paddling on Sacandaga River - West Branch is so much fun. Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. You'll locate a stunning lake called Mud Lake near Spy Lake, and unsurprisingly Sand Lake Outlet

Do stop by Little Lake next to Spy Lake, it's a scenic lake, and whitewater paddling is splendid on Piseco Outlet. into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Spy Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Near Spy Lake you hit upon the Sucker Brook Trail which is a fine hiking trail; if
you came for an overnight stay Pine Lake Campground and RV Park is a splendid site to camp. This lake is so wonderful. From Spy Lake you get a good vista of Mud Lake Mountain, and Higgins Bay is very near and is a magnificent spot
to visit. You'll meet a lot of folks from Gloversville here; Campsite is a good local campground. Spy Lake is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains.
