This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Adirondack Mountains. Camping is available at Adirondack Camp, and The Sagamore is a tremendous place to get some rest. Summertime highs at Spruce Pond regularly tend to be in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Spruce Pond temperatures

Spruce Pond is a good spot of normal precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is January. a pleasure; a great site close by is Big Notch. All the outdoors entertaining things close to Spruce Pond will keep you coming back many times. The vista of pretty Orebed Hill near Spruce Pond is wonderful, and paddling on Poultney
River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. People from Glens Falls love to come to Spruce Pond; there's pleasant hiking along the Berrymile Pond Trail. If you like skiing, you're in luck; West Mountain is close to Spruce
Pond, and do take a look at Dolph Pond, it's a pretty lake. That right there is a lot of fun stuff already but it goes on, the Adirondack Mountains has it all. You'll hit upon a delightful lake called Spectacle Pond near Spruce Pond,
and a great nearby hotel is The Sagamore. The Glen Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, and whitewater paddling is wonderful on Mettawee River.
