This is a tremendous vicinity for folks who like lakes. Eagle Pond is a lake in the neighborhood; if you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Malone is a perfect choice. Deer River Campsites is a great local campground, and at Spring Pond you can catch a sight of Kary Mountain. Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. A delightful place for whitewater paddling near Spring Pond is Meacham Lake Outlet, and Spring Pond is a pleasant       spot to visit for more than one day, Legton is a pleasant spot to camp nearby. Salmon River is a delightful whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Spring Pond, and lots of people from Malone come here. Any time is a great time at Spring Pond if you fancy the outdoors. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Titus Mountain is near Spring Pond, and probably you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Gourdshell Ponds is just a very short distance away. And that's                  not everything there is to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Malone; Mount Pisgah is a great local ski area. This lake is so wonderful. Alder Brook is a tremendous local stream. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's with temperatures at Spring Pond dipping down into the 0's through winter nights.
