Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Malone, and Spring Pond is not the only site close by, Little Duck Pond is a close by lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Deer River; if you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Malone is a wonderful choice. This lake is so wonderful. Take some time to take a look at Franklin State Forest       Number Three if you're here; an afternoon playing golf at Malone Golf Club is always a delight. Spring Pond is a good site of typical rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month of the year is February. Now, you may believe that's a load but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Spring Pond. Skiing at Titus Mountain is one of those things you just have to do, and a wonderful site to camp here at Spring Pond is Deer River                  Campsites. Childs Brook is a wonderful local stream, and a lake close by is Pitcher Pond. Camping is available at Legton, and at Spring Pond you always meet someone from Malone. Summertime highs at Spring Pond commonly tend to be in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Spring Pond dip into the 0's.
