Get yourself into a kayak and hit Saw Kill River, and skiing at Hunter Mountain is one of those things you just have to do. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Catskill Mountains. A nice close by hotel is Quality Inn & Suites, and not far from Spring Lake you'll discover First Lake which is a charming lake.

hiking trail in the neighborhood of Spring Lake.
