There are fine spots to look at along the Southeast Hollow Trail, and why not camp at Broken Wheel Campground if you're here at Spring Lake. This is a popular place for folks from Pittsfield, and dry warm beds await you at Jiminy Peak. The annual rainfall here at Spring Lake is about average; the wettest month of the year is frequently July, that's the one that rains the most while February is mostly the driest month.
