If you are in this part of New York make sure to pay a visit to Spring Lake. Summertime highs at Spring Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. good choice. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Poesten Kill River; Mount Greylock Ski Club is a brilliant local ski area. This lake is so wonderful. There are fine spots to look at
along the Southeast Hollow Trail, and why not camp at Broken Wheel Campground if you're here at Spring Lake. This is a popular place for folks from Pittsfield, and dry warm beds await you at Jiminy Peak. The annual rainfall here at
Spring Lake is about average; the wettest month of the year is frequently July, that's the one that rains the most while February is mostly the driest month. If you come at the right time of year, Green River offers some pleasant whitewater, and the skiing at Jiminy Peak is fine.

 | this is a gREAt campground for people with children. They make you feel great about camping. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. I would recomended this campground 110 percent!!!!...alps is the most awesome place to camp.they offer everything and anything there. we saw what they did at the 4th of july and the kids loved it.
