Go to Spring Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. Fairfield Inn By Marriott Syosset/Long Island is a pleasant spot to get some rest, and you'll meet a lot of people from Bridgeport-Stamford-Norwalk here. Summertime highs at Spring Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. For the period of the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Spring Lake.

Spring Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Norwalk River for all you adrenaline
people; if you came for an overnight stay Camp Pontiac is a splendid site to camp. Beaver Brook is one of the streams close by that might be worth checking out, and if you need a place to stay East Norwich Inn is a glorious choice.
