One of the best things about Spring Lake is its proximity to Beekman Beach, and Norwalk River has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot nearby. Beaver Brook is close to Spring Lake and is always a bliss to go to, and enjoy a round of golf at Nassau Country Club Executive. Spring Lake is a wet spot that gets a great deal of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May, and the       driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Brickyard Point is around here and always wonderful to pop by; not far from Spring Lake you'll discover Mill Pond which is a charming lake. This lake is so wonderful. Take a look at close by Shu Swamp, and you can spend the day on the beach at Ferry Beach. You'll meet a lot of folks from Bridgeport-Stamford-Norwalk here. There's so much to do here at Spring Lake that you need to camp here for a                  while, Camp Pontiac is a great place for that. This place, Spring Lake, it clearly has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. There are other spots here than Spring Lake, for example Beaver Lake; after a long day outdoors East Norwich Inn is a pleasant place to spend a night or two. For the period of the summertime at Spring Lake highs are mostly in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Spring Lake drop into the 20's.
