    If you are in this part of New York make sure to pay a visit to Sprague Pond. There's great hiking along the Sucker Brook Trail; you can hit the slopes at Gore Mountain close by. This lake is so wonderful. The Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail offers hiking at its best, and Cedar River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. Sprague Pond mostly gets a good deal of precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand  
   is the driest.
During the warmest time of the year here at Sprague Pond, high temperatures generally reach the 70's, and the night is a bit colder of course, frequently in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are typically in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Sprague Pond temperatures sink to the 0's.                Rock River is so much fun. Sprague Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains.
Having a great time at Sprague Pond is easy. Take a little trip to Sprague Brook while you're here at Sprague Pond. This site, the Adirondack Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing things. Good hiking is available along the Northville Lake Placid Trail; a great location to camp here at Sprague Pond is Tioga Point State Campground.
