Spectacle Pond is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Spectacle Pond. For the period of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are generally in the 20's; during the dark hours in the winter at Spectacle Pond temperatures dip to the 0's. If you came to camp Robinson's Iga is a great site to do that, and there are other sites here       than Spectacle Pond, for example Eskar Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Taking a little journey to close by Arnolds Point is a fine idea, and going for a hike on the Sixmile Creek Trail is always a perfect adventure. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains. One of the principal characteristics of the surroundings of Spectacle Pond is Indian Mountain. What a site this is for outdoors folks. The best way to spend a winter day is                  on the slopes of close by McCauley Mountain, and naturally Sixmile Creek is a pretty stream that is worth a visit. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not enough time. Camping at Higley Flow State Park is always a great experience; there are pleasant places to discover along the Ash Pond Trail. Spectacle Pond gets a typical amount of rain; most of the rain falls during August, and the driest month is February.
