Go to Spectacle Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are brilliant; Goose Pond is a lake that's close to Spectacle Pond, and the peak of Beaver Meadow Hill can be observed from Spectacle Pond. A typical amount of rain falls here at Spectacle Pond; the wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest. more than a day to look at everything Spectacle Pond has to offer, you can camp at Echo Lake Southwoods. You imagine that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. There's so much to do here at Spectacle Pond that you need to camp here
for a while, Medcalf Acres Campsite is a magnificent site for that; Gore Mountain is a very popular ski area in close proximity.
Get yourself into a kayak and hit Schroon River, and the Spectacle Pond Trail is a pleasant hiking
trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. There is a wonderful hiking trail close to Spectacle Pond called the Pharoah Mountain Trail, and a swamp like Beaver Meadow Marsh next to Spectacle Pond has lots of interesting things to see.
Get covered with water paddling on Schroon River, and do pop by Shanty Bottom Brook if you're here at Spectacle Pond.
Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in close proximity to Spectacle Pond. Spectacle Pond is
one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. Through the summertime at Spectacle Pond temperatures are frequently in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with temperatures at Spectacle Pond dipping down into the 0's through winter nights.
