This lake is so wonderful. On a fine day at Spectacle Lake you can take a hike along the Twin Lakes Trail; at Spectacle Lake you can catch a glimpse of McCauley Mountain. This is a magnificent neighborhood for people who like lakes. Mad Tom Lake is a lake close by, and going for a hike along the California Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. That right there is lots of fun things already but it goes on, the       Adirondack Mountains has it all. Stay the night at Ace Of Diamonds Mine; a pleasant swamp right next door to Spectacle Lake is Pooler Vly. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Americas Best Inns-Herkimer is a pleasant place to spend a night or two, and paddling on West Canada Creek is so much fun. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things in the Adirondack Mountains. You're almost certainly into lakes, Bullhead                  Pond is one of those nearby, and Adirondack Gateway Campground is a good campground nearby. During the summertime at Spectacle Lake highs are ordinarily in the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Spectacle Lake. While you're here at Spectacle Lake you can take a hike along the Party Trail, and Knights Inn Little Falls is a magnificent site to get some rest.
