Sure, Third Lake is close by, and the top of Good Luck Mountain is easily distinguished from Spectacle Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! The Adirondack Mountains is great! Get yourself into a kayak and hit East Canada Creek. You'll need more than a day to explore everything       Spectacle Lake has to offer, you can camp at Pine Lake Campground and RV Park. Get drenched paddling on Sprite Creek, and not far from Spectacle Lake you'll discover Dry Lake which is a charming lake. If you're a golfer then a brilliant close by course is Nick Stoner Municipal Golf Course. There's so much to do here at Spectacle Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Campsite is a delightful place for that. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy                  all the cool stuff at Spectacle Lake. You'll meet a lot of people from Amsterdam here, and after a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Palatine Bridge is a delightful place to spend a night or two. Spectacle Lake is a wet place that gets much rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is regularly the driest month. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail is always a splendid adventure, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Johnstown-Gloversville, Ny.
