A good nearby hotel is Holiday Inn JOHNSTOWN-GLOVERSVILLE, and if you came for an overnight stay Campsite is a great place to camp. For the period of the warm days of summer, highs typically are in the 70's at Spectacle Lake while overnight lows are typically in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while Spectacle Lake nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are       in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Good Luck Mountain is scenic and can be seen from Spectacle Lake, and if you need a place to stay Rodeway Inn Palatine Bridge is a brilliant choice.
