If you are in Oneida county it's always a good idea to stop by South Reservoir. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to South Reservoir. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. Highs during the winter are usually in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at South Reservoir temperatures sink to the 10's. close to South Reservoir. You'll need more than a day to discover everything South Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Elmtree Estates. Paddling on Cincinnati Creek is so much fun, and skiing at Woods Valley is one of those things
you just should do.
This lake is so wonderful. At South Reservoir you always meet someone from Utica-Rome, and there are other sites here than South Reservoir, for example Graffenburg Reservoir. A forest close to South Reservoir
is South Woods; if you need a location to stay Radisson Hotel-Utica Centre is a great choice. South Reservoir usually gets a large amount of rainfall; September is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is February.
