Northville Lake Placid Trail
Not sure where Plumley's Point is but I hiked the Northville Lake Placid trail about 4 or 5 miles north from Long Lake village and it was fairly well maintained (just a little overgrowth). At one point the trail runs into a bog/pond and the wooden planks are flooded over. You must make a detour to the left and bushwack to some rocks to cross (hiked June 09)...8/14/09 I'm wondering if anyone knows the trail conditions for the Northville Lake Palcid trail from Long Lake village to near Plumley's Point-...
Little Simon Pond
14 miles away Great place for ice fishing. One of the best tournaments around....
Raquette Lake
14 miles away It's just Raquette Lake, NOT Raquette Lake Reservoir! And Fort Stanwix is over 80 miles away - why not visit the Adirondack Museum just a 12 mile drive to Blue Mountain Lake?...
