Van Winkle Country Club, and you can never get enough of the wonderful skiing at Hunter Mountain. Just can't get enough of the Catskill Mountains. At South Lake you always meet someone from Kingston. From a precipitation point
of view South Lake is a relatively common spot; all through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at South Lake you can take
a hike along the Phoenicia Trail, and getting to Spruce Creek from South Lake is painless. The Catskill Mountains scenery is always beautiful. So many exciting things in the Catskill Mountains, just incredible. Camping is available
at Rip Van winkle Campgrounds, and if you want to pop by some out of the ordinary stuff, pop by Artists Rock. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Saugerties is a glorious choice, and you can run the rapids of Plattekill Creek.
And that's not all the things to do here in the Catskill Mountains. While you're here at South Lake, you could also explore pretty North Lake; hiking along the Spruceton Trail is magnificent fun. Really tremendous skiing awaits you at Windham Mountain, and close by you find Hillyer Ravine which is a good location to have a look at.
