You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Adirondack Mountains. You'll need more than       a day to look at everything Lake Sound has to offer, you can camp at Ranch Side Park, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Sacandaga River - West Branch. Having a magnificent time at Lake Sound is trouble-free. Lake Sound is a magnificent site to visit for more than one day, Pine Lake Campground and RV Park is a magnificent site to camp nearby, and you can have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Sucker Brook Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A journey to Perrys                  Clearing invigorates the soul, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Northville Lake Placid Trail. Here at Lake Sound there are plenty of people from Gloversville, and do take a hike on the Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail. Brister Brook is a perfect local stream; soar down the rapids of Sacandaga River - Middle Branch in a kayak. Lake Sound is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. Lake Sound generally gets a good deal of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. For the duration of the days of summer at Lake Sound temperatures are usually in the 70's while night lows are frequently in the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Lake Sound. This lake is so wonderful.
