Paddling on Callicoon Creek - North Branch is so much fun, and Somerset Lake is near Brady Hollow which is absolutely worth a visit. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Pierce Pond is in close proximity, and dry warm beds await you at Villa Roma Resort Lodges. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Somerset Lake, you'll hit upon Sand Pond which is a picturesque lake. The warmest time of the year at Somerset Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's

| | with overnight lows in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's, and overnight lows at Somerset Lake during the wintertime regularly plunge into the 10's. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a nice time here at Somerset Lake. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mount Tone if you're here, and on a great day you can go to Black Ash Swamp, a swamp in the vicinity of Somerset Lake. Lake is a pleasant location to visit for more than one day, West Branch Angler and Sportman is a pleasant location to camp nearby, and a golf course close by is Hancock Golf Course. Float down the rapids of Callicoon Creek - East Branch in a kayak, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Gee Brook.
