     Do stop at Moules Lake near Snyders Lake, it's a delightful lake; Dingman's Campgrounds is a good local campground. A wonderful lake like Coopers Pond near Snyders Lake is a delightful place to stop at, and Snyders Lake is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Alps Family Campground is a great spot to camp nearby. An average amount of rainfall falls at Snyders Lake; during June this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. This  
   lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Snyders Lake you will meet lots of people from nearby Albany-Schenectady-Troy, and after a long day outdoors Residence Inn Albany East Greenbush/Tech Valley is a great place to spend a night or two.
Any time is a great time at Snyders Lake if you have a thing about the outdoors. If you come at the right time of year, Poesten Kill River offers some nice whitewater; the skiing at Hickory Ski Center is good. A good close

this is a gREAt campground for people with children. They make you feel great about camping. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. I would recomended this campground 110 percent!!!!...alps is the most awesome place to camp.they offer everything and anything there. we saw what they did at the 4th of july and the kids loved it. I advice any parents that have have kids to take them there........they WON'T be disapointed...
