A wonderful nearby hotel is Best Western Inn At Hunt's Landing, and the Bald Hill Trail is a glorious hiking trail nearby. There's some flowing water nearby, Clove Brook is a stream you can have a look at while here, and you can never get enough of the nice skiing at Mountain Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Really tremendous skiing awaits you at Holiday Mountain, and you can stay the night at Tri-State       RV Park. Snyder Pond is a rather wet place generally with a lot of rain; the month with most of the rain is May while February is typically the driest month. On a great day at Snyder Pond you can take a hike along the Lost Cabin Trail. There's so much to do here at Snyder Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Shippekonk Campground is a good spot for that. Now, you may believe that's a lot but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Snyder                  Pond. Drift down the rapids of Delaware River in a kayak, and the top of Point Peter is easily observed from Snyder Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Hotel Fauchere is a magnificent place to get some rest, and you don’t have to go far from Snyder Pond to see the water at Steeny Kill Dam. Paddling on Clove Brook is so much fun, and Delaware National Scenic River is a great local destination. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a glorious time here at Snyder Pond. While you're here at Snyder Pond, you could also have a look at scenic Heintein Pond, and a pleasant site close by is Delaware River Gorge. This lake is so wonderful. Carpenters Point is near Snyder Pond and is a good spot to stop by, and swamps like Cedar Swamp are fun to take a look at. Montague Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Peenpack Trail. Through the days of summer at Snyder Pond highs are commonly in the 70's with night lows in the 50's.
