    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Snyder Pond. The yearly rain here at Snyder Pond is about average; during May this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. During your journey to Snyder Pond you'll meet some folks from Hudson for sure, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Bash Bish Brook. Skiing at Ski Butternut is one of those things you just should  
   do, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Elbow Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Have a good hiking adventure along the Indian Trail, and after a long day outdoors Sharon Motor Lodge is a good place to spend a night or two. If you need a place to stay Great Barrington Days Inn is a pleasant choice, and whitewater paddling is brilliant on Roeliff Jansen Kill River. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Snyder
 
               Pond. Oleana Family Camp Grounds is a wonderful campground nearby, and do take a look at Miller Pond, it's a beautiful lake.
If you're here at Snyder Pond and you like golf, you can take a look at Undermountain Golf Course, and you'll find a stunning lake called Upper Rhoda Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Bash Bish Brook flows through this region, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Catamount while you're here. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff at Snyder Pond.
Through the summer here at Snyder Pond, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Snyder Pond sink into the 10's. Hiking along the Northrop Trail is great fun; Snyder Pond is a nice spot to visit for more than one day, Camp Pontiac is a nice spot to camp nearby.
