From a rainfall point of view Snooks Pond is a reasonably typical place; July is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is February. A brilliant place to camp here at Snooks Pond is Green Lakes State Park, and if you need a site to stay Econo Lodge Dewitt is a nice choice. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of people from Syracuse come to Snooks Pond, and dry warm beds await you at       Craftsman Inn & Conference Center. Through the warm days of summer at Snooks Pond temperatures are mostly in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's; night lows at Snooks Pond through the wintertime regularly fall into the 10's. Be careful coming to Snooks Pond, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Really good skiing awaits you at Song Mountain. Skiing at Toggenburg is one of those things you                  just should do, needless to say you could also stop by Evergreen Lake while you're here; it's not far at all.
