In New York there are many beautiful lakes, Snake Pond is one of them. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Snake Pond temperatures are regularly in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. at Snake Pond. If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Putnam Creek, and nearby you locate the Treadway Mountain Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail.
This lake is so wonderful. There's
so much to do here at Snake Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Medcalf Acres Campsite is a splendid place for that, and there is a glorious hiking trail nearby called the Rock Pond Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Ticonderoga
- Super 8 Motel is a great place to get some rest, and a lake nearby is Knob Pond. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool things the Adirondack Mountains has to offer. Schroon River has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot
nearby, and on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Short Swing Trail.
Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Adirondack Mountains rocks! You can distinguish Bear Pond Mountain from Snake Pond, and why not
a little side trip to Rock Pond Brook. Snake Pond is a good place of typical precipitation; the wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February.
