Smith Pond is always a pleasure to visit. While staying at Smith Pond you could always discover Rice Glen, and you can never get enough of the good skiing at Bristol Mountain. Get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Honeoye Creek. The yearly rainfall here at Smith Pond is about average; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily June, that's the one that rains the most, and January is the month with the least moisture. | | Super 8 Motel - Bath/Hammondsport Area; why not camp at Tumble Hill Campground if you're here at Smith Pond. You're sure to run into some friendly folks from Corning here; Loucks Pond is a glorious lake nearby. Smith Pond in fact is in the middle of a scenic outdoors paradise. If you need a place to stay Days Inn Bath / Hammondsport is a nice choice, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Canisteo River. Summer | |

at Smith Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and the overnight is a little chillier of course, typically in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's, and night lows at Smith Pond through the wintertime generally
drop into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Campers Haven is a pleasant local campground; lakes are such peaceful spots, why not check out Lake Demons.
