This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. At Sly Pond during the long summer days highs are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Sly Pond dip into the 0's. Sly Pond gets a common amount of precipitation; most of the rain falls all through       August while January is commonly the driest month. Sly Pond is a brilliant site to visit for more than one day, Ledgeview RV Park is a brilliant site to camp nearby, and there's magnificent hiking along the Lost Pond Trail. Man, is there a heap of entertaining things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Ledgeview Village RV Park is a wonderful campground nearby; don't leave Sly Pond without first going for a hike along the Berrymile Pond Trail. This lake is                  so wonderful. The Three Ponds is a nearby lake that you could visit; The Sagamore is a good place to get some rest. And that's not all you can do here at Sly Pond. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Sly Pond; Treadway Mountain Trail is a pleasant local trail, and at Sly Pond you always meet someone from Glens Falls. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Sly Pond you can play some golf at Queensbury C C Golf Course, and Buttermilk Falls is an inspiring place to stop at while you're here. Willard Mountain is a very popular ski area in the vicinity. West Mountain has perfect slopes and a friendly staff; if you get bored of Sly Pond you could also have a look at nearby Hadlock Pond. You completely have to like the Adirondack Mountains.
