Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Military Pond, and skiing at Whiteface Mountain is one of those things you just should do. Slush Pond is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. No way I can stop, cause       I'm havin' a tremendous time here at Slush Pond. Going for a hike on the Southside Trail is always a glorious adventure. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Slush Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Microtel Inn and Suites Plattsburgh, and a glorious location to camp here at Slush Pond is North Pole Campground. But wait, there's more cool things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Beaver Point is in close proximity and always tremendous                  to have a look at; the Silver Lake Mountain Trail is a fine hiking trail nearby. If you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Plattsburgh is a perfect choice, and there's whitewater on Black River for all you adrenaline kick people. During the warm months highs here at Slush Pond reach the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are generally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Slush Pond. Lakes are fine; Fern Lake is a lake that's right next door to Slush Pond; close by you discover the Schwartz Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. One of the major characteristics of the surroundings of Slush Pond is Fern Lake Mountain, and get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Little Black Brook. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Adirondack Mountains. Why not pop by close by Blake Brook if you're here at Slush Pond; Indole Golf Course is a nice golf course nearby.
