The yearly rainfall here at Slender Pond is about average; August is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. Slender Pond is a wonderful location to visit for more than one day, Browns Tract Pond State Campground is a wonderful location to camp nearby, and on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Sixmile Creek Trail. Slender Pond is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack       Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Oswegatchie River - East Branch, and not far from Slender Pond you'll come across Clear Pond which is a pretty lake. For the duration of the summertime months, highs regularly are in the 70's at Slender Pond while night lows are usually in the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with temperatures at Slender                  Pond dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. All year is a great time in the Adirondack Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. But wait, there's more to do close to Slender Pond.
