Blue Jay Campsites is a tremendous campground nearby. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Adirondack Mountains. Get your pulse rate up on the tremendous whitewater of Round Lake Outlet; a lake nearby is Tupper Lake Reservoir. Dry warm beds await you at Woodlake Inn, and there are great sites to look at along the Northville Lake Placid Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Simon Pond is a fine spot       to visit for more than one day, Camp Cherokee is a fine spot to camp nearby, and Little Simon Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. Simon Pond is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. Simon Pond is a reasonably wet place usually with a good deal of rainfall; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here; February meanwhile is the driest month. A magnificent place for whitewater paddling near Simon Pond is Bog River,                  and close by you hit upon Pilot Point. During the warm days of summer at Simon Pond temperatures are commonly in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
