It's always fun to stop by Silver Lake. A spree to Parks Cove near Silver Lake is always a good idea, and an afternoon playing golf at Golf Club of Purchase is always a bliss. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is fine here at Silver Lake, you can go for a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. You'll meet a lot of folks from Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown here, and Soundview Sports is a delightful local campground.
