New York has many beautiful lakes and Silver Lake is one of them. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Silver Lake. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Amber Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Villa Roma Resort Lodges is a pleasant choice. Silver Lake frequently gets a great deal of precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful.

| | Swan Lake Camplands is a splendid campground nearby; Silver Lake is right by the Schiff Trail. There's whitewater on Callicoon Creek - North Branch for all you adrenaline people; do take a hike on the Lost Cabin Trail. This is a great region for folks who like lakes. Bishops Pond is a lake in the vicinity, and a magnificent close by hotel is Days Inn Of Liberty. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Delaware River; | |
