Some of the water nearby flows, like Dead Creek, and the top of Bear Mountain is easily seen from Silver Lake. This place, Silver Lake, it simply has so much outdoors amusing stuff. If you come at the right time of year, Oswegatchie River - East Branch offers some great whitewater; if you're popping by from Ogdensburg-Massena, you won't be the only one. This lake is       so wonderful. Hiking along the Ash Pond Trail is pleasant fun. This lake is so wonderful. This is a pleasant region for people who like lakes. Lost Pond is a lake nearby, and if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the The Loop. Summer at Silver Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's.
