Silver Lake is a beautiful lake in the Catskill Mountains. Silver Lake is right by the Phoenicia Trail. Having a good time at Silver Lake is painless. Silver Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Torchlight Campsites is a brilliant local campground, and a golf course close by is Windham Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Hotel Vienna is a wonderful choice, and charming       scenery and wonderful skiing is what you get at Hunter Mountain. Having a nice time in the Catskill Mountains is painless. Jennie Notch is a great spot to explore, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Catskill Creek. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Doherty's Mountain Campground is a perfect site to do that, and there's whitewater on Ten Mile Creek for all you adrenaline people. A great close by hotel                  is Winwood Inn, and Point Lookout is around here and always good to take a look at. But wait, there's more cool stuff to do in the Catskill Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Silver Lake; Spruceton Trail is a pleasant local trail; the sight of Kate Hill is pretty. Silver Lake gets a common amount of annual rain; the wettest month of the year is regularly May, that's the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest. Summertime at Silver Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are generally in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Silver Lake.
