Why not stop by Silver Lake if you're passing through these parts. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things in the Catskill Mountains. Paddling on Ten Mile Creek is so much fun, and camping is available at Torchlight Campsites. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Silver Lake while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. is around here. This lake is so wonderful. There's glorious hiking along the Spruceton Trail, and Catskill Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. So many entertaining things in the Catskill Mountains, just mind-blowing.
Skiing at Windham Mountain is one of those things you just should do, and Lake Heloise is a nearby lake that you could visit. This lake is so wonderful. Really brilliant skiing awaits you at Hunter Mountain, and you might also want
to pay a visit to Jennie Notch while you're here at Silver Lake. You are close to Point Lookout while you're here at Silver Lake; the Willow Trail offers hiking at its best. After a long day outdoors Winwood Inn is a great place
to spend a night or two, and camping at Doherty's Mountain Campground is always a splendid experience. This lake is one of the great places here in the Catskill Mountains. A lake nearby is Colgate Lake, and on a gorgeous day you acquire a nice view of Kate Hill from Silver Lake.
