This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Moose River - South Branch, and on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the Salmon Lake Trail. Silver Dollar Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; all through August this area sees the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. Stay the night at Cape Woods Campground,       and the panorama of gorgeous Twitchell Mountain is pleasant. But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. If you're a golfer then a pleasant nearby course is Thendara Golf Club, and there is a magnificent hiking trail close by called the Big Deer Pond Trail. A splendid close by hotel is Best Western Sunset Inn, and no need to travel far to explore attention-grabbing stuff like Browns Rock. Having a good time in the Adirondack Mountains                  is easy. While you're here at Silver Dollar Pond, you could also take a look at gorgeous Lilypad Ponds. There's so much to do here at Silver Dollar Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Singing waters Campground is a brilliant site for that. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at McCauley Mountain close at hand, and if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Norridge Trail. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Silver Dollar Pond with night lows in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Silver Dollar Pond are in the 0's. That right there is a lot already, but it carries on; Silver Dollar Pond has it all.
