Float down the rapids of Roeliff Jansen Kill River in a       kayak, as expected you could also visit Round Pond since you're here; it's not far at all. Through the warmest time of the year, highs commonly are in the 80's at Shooks Pond, and the night is a little cooler of course, frequently in the 50's.
